Yale Assure 2 Smart Lock won't automatically arm or disarm ring alarm system as advertised :'(

I have this smart lock with z wave connected to my ring system. Ring doesn't know when the door opens, the lock has a magnetic door open sensor, and the smart lock won't arm or disarm when the lock is opened or locked.  This functionally is advertised for all compatible smart locks. I feel duped here.  Will this ever be available for this lock?  If I want to replace this lock how can I tell if another lock will have this functionality?
