Water Sensors and Ring Alarm with $0 subscription?

Hi all We are moving home. The new house already has security cameras and alarm system (not Ring) Can we use only our Ring flood/freeze detectors a Ring Alarm base station? Does it require a $XXXX monthly payment to send app notifications and the Ring Alarm Base station notifications? (I don’t need monitoring, and there will be no video at all) Would it notify if we had a sensor on our shed door but we did not pay any subscription? Thanks
