Still limited sensor selection

It has been a number of years and Ring still has only one type of door and window sensor available. This is very limiting to those of us with special use cases where the standard door and window sensor will not work well. Why hasn't Ring come out with door pin sensors and pluge type door sensors? These sensor types have been on the market for decades and the technology behind them is the same as the current sensors.
