Smoke and CO Listener false alarm
I added a Smoke and CO Listener a couple years ago. On January 5th the unit tripped the Ring alarm system alerting us that the in-house smoke alarm had gone off. The problem was the in-house alarm never went off (we were hamoe at the time). I took the sensor off line, changed the battery, re-set it and re-paired it to the Ring system. Exactly two months to the day later it did the same thing again! This time it was 3 AM! The in-house smoke alarm was not triggered but the listener said it was. Sounds to me like a faulty Ring Smoke and CO Listener which of course is no longer under warranty. Anybody elese have this happen? Any solution that I am not aware of??

Hi @user_b8ca31. The Ring Smoke and CO listener should only go off if it hears a temporal 3 or 4 tone. If you are having false alarms, I would suggest reaching out to our support team. You can reach them by sending a private message to us on Facebook or X @Ring. Thank you for this feedback.
