Ring Alarm Pro local storage

I've been using the 2nd generation base station for several years now. Looking at the Pro base station and the only question I can't seem to find an answer to is  this...  does the local flash storage help with video feed being faster on iPhone with motion or doorbell ring alerts? I know the differences between storing in the cloud or locally.  I have good wifi coverage but that's the only thing that I wish was better was faster video processing to display on phone.
