Ring Alarm II base station range
A few questions about the mk II Base Station. 1: What is the range of the station connecting with sensors before you need to use the range extender? 2: Its a three story house; for maximum range, Base Station on the 3rd floor? Thx

Hi @makanramen. The maximum range for the Z-Wave signal is 250 ft. This is going to decrease on the amount of environmental structures in the path the Z-Wave signal travels. The best placement for the Ring Alarm Base Station is going to be in the center of the home, away from any other electronic equipment. I hope this information helps!
