Ring Alarm Geo-Fence Audio Notification with Apple CarPlay Does not work. If I am connected to Apple CarPlay, Geo-Fence audio Arm/Disarm notifications do not work. If I am not connected to Apple CarPlay then they work as described. My previous car only had Bluetooth and they worked. It failed with multiple phones also on different autos with CarPlay so I think this is a Ring issue. I called Ring Support and it too five times to explain the problem. They guided me through basic troubleshooting which I had already done. Then they mentioned they don’t support third party apps, CarPlay. Overall horrible Support experience. They were not willing to transfer to a higher tier. I found a few posts in this forum and it appears this feature does not work for others when using CarPlay
