Ring Alarm Base Station stuck scanning for available wifi networks
troubleshooting

I am trying to change network connection on the Ring alarm base station because I switched provider and the new router has a different network ID. I followed the instructions to change the network but the process gets stuck in the "scanning for available wifi networks" stage. I tried the quick reset or reboot and it doesn't work. Right now, the base station is in cellular backup mode. Any help to resolve this is much appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi @user_bdbf99. Is your new wifi network dual-band? If so, try splitting the bands, or even creating a guest network utilizing only 2.4GHz. You can also try connecting the Base Station with an Ethernet cable, if you're able to. After the Base Station connects, then you can change the network type to wifi.
