Receive notifications alarm deactivated + automatic activation with geo-location
troubleshooting

notifications
Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to receive the notifications of the ring detector even when the alarm is deactivated? Also, I saw that there is a geo-location feature, but it only allows to send a notification. Is it possible to make an automatic activation (and deactivation) with this feature? If yes, how? Thank you

Hi @Pristio. You are able to receive notifications from a Contact Sensor or a Motion Detector when your Alarm is disarmed; you can enable this in each Sensor’s settings. To do so, follow these steps: * Open the Ring app. * Select the menu button (three horizontal lines in the upper left corner). * Tap Devices * Select your Alarm Base Station. * Select one of your Contact Sesnors or Motion Detetors. * Toggle on open or closed alerts for the Contact Sensor and Motion Alerts for the Motion Detector As for the [Geofence feature](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052805372-Geofence-in-the-Ring-App), that cannot automatically arm your Alarm; it will only send arm/disarm reminders. Using [Mode Schedules](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360060532451-How-to-Arm-and-Disarm-Ring-Alarm-with-Mode-Schedules) will automatically arm your Alarm. I hope this helps.
