Ring Alarm
One sensor in my order won't connect
Hi, I got an alarm set and an extra 10 sensors from ring. One sensor just won't connect. I've reset it and tried everything in support articles. It is close to the base station so that is not the issue. How can I go about getting a replacement. Conor

Thanks. The sensor is a first generation and I've removed it twice now and tried to factory reset it, but still nothing!

Hi @user29731. You'll most likely need to "remove a Z-Wave device" with this Contact Sensor. Those steps are listed [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042311972-Troubleshooting-Your-Contact-Sensor-2nd-Generation-). This should get your Contact Sensor to add to your Ring Alarm.
