I’m moving into a new home and buying ring components for it. I’ve ordered a ring security system and I want to add a mailbox sensor. Do I need a bridge as well? Thanks Joe
Hi @Pope523. It depends on what alarm you purchased. If you have purchased a Ring Alarm, you will need a Bridge. If you purchased the Ring Alarm Pro, you do not need one since one is built into the Pro. Also, if you have an Amazon Echo (4th Gen) or an Echo Show 10 (3rd Gen), you can use those as a Bridge for Smart Lights.
