Moving door sensor to a new door
I will be replacing an exterior door that has a contact sensor installed. Is it possible to remove the sensor from the old door and reinstall on the new door without having to buy a new sensor? Thanks for the assistance!

Hi @Becca. Is the sensor that is already installed a Ring Contact Sensor? If so, you can just remove it from the place it is at and put it back up at the new door, you just may need new adhesive so that it sticks to the new door! Since the sensors are wireless, you can move them wherever they need to be.
