Green light on Keypad

I have just taken delivery of a Ring system. I connected the keypad to a power supply using your plug and connector. No green lights - flashing or solid - are showing. I pressed the reset button and the green light flashed for a second and then everything went blank. The Keypad worked ok when I tested it. Is my keypad charged? If yes, where is the solid green light? If it is charging , where is my flashing green light. Thanks for any help. Ray
