False Critical Alert and False Person Detection Issues on Stick Cam
Dear Support Team, I’m experiencing an issue with one of my stick cameras repeatedly detecting “persons” when none are present. This morning at 4 AM, I received a Critical Alert on my device. However, upon reviewing the motion alert, it seems the alarm was never actually triggered. Here’s the video that prompted the alert: https://ring.com/share/48eeef14-32f5-413a-bf1e-8f0291594da0 As you can hear, the alarm did not sound. I would like to understand why this happened. False critical alerts are extremely disruptive, especially during odd hours. There should be a way to report false alarms so your system can learn and improve. Additionally, I strongly suggest critical alerts only be sent when the alarm is actually triggered. Sending alerts for non-critical events undermines their importance. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your response.

Hi @user_a3c44a. This alert appears to be from your Ring Alarm system and not from a camera. After 10 minutes, the siren will stop sounding. This might be why you didn't hear it in the video. I suggest reviewing your Alarm History to see what triggered your alarm.
