Door open chirps no longer working

until recently whenever i would open a door my ring base station and keypad would chime to let me know what door was just opened. now all of a sudden it no longer does that. on the keypad or base station. i have checked the settings in the app and nothing has changed as far as the settings go. audio settings in both the base station and keypad are set at about 3/4 the chirp tones for the door are set to navi under the base station and keypad sounds portion of the app. anyone have an idea on how to get these working again without trying a hard reset on the base station. it is a gen 1
