Contact spacing (depth)

Hello! I know that a contact/magnet should not be spaced more than 1/2" from one another, and I'm looking for suggestions for depth. All of more doors sit back about 3/4" from the adjacent trim (+/-). I feel like I need a large shim or something to get the contact & magnet at least somewhat flush with one another. I could go and cut up a bunch of pieces of wood, but that would look sloppy. Is there a spacer that Ring makes or something along those lines? Surely I'm not the only one with this problem. Thanks!

There are many different trims w different homes. I just came home and discovered my sensor and magnet are so close, after I closed the door, the magnet edge detached front cover of sensor. Curious if I can detach from the adhesive and turn it 90 degrees on the upper corner!!

I have the same issue. I need to space the magnet about .65” out on the door for it to one up with the sensor.
