Can the Ring alarm be remotely activated and deactived?
I'm helping an elderly neighbour who is interested in getting a Ring alarm system. They already have a Ring doorbell and security cameras and manages them under their Protect Plus plan. The problem is that she's not very dexterous and forgetful so she needs help from her neighbours. The best solution we can think of is to be able to remotely turn on her alarm for her. Can this be done with the Ring Alarm?

Thanks Tom! That's the exact info I was looking for. Much appreciated. One more question? This user is already on the Protect Plus plan, will they be able to use the Alarm devices along side this plan do you know? Regards, p.

Hi @user72282. Whoever has Shared User access with the Ring Alarm account and applicable Ring Protect Plan subscription, can arm/disarm via the Ring app. You can learn more about this here.
