Can the motion detector be mounted sideways?

The corners of my walls are not 90 degree angles. The motion detector would mount more easily if it were turned sideways. Anyone know if it will work turned 90 degrees sideways?

    Hi @T3. This Help Center [article](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039498552-Ring-Alarm-Motion-Detector-Setup-and-Use) goes over the setup and use of the Alarm Motion Detector. It does not state the Detector can be placed sideways, so we do not recommend doing so as it can affect its performance.
