troubleshooting
I am having issues with all my Flood / Freeze sensors killing batteries. They are only about 1 month old and I have put 3 Non-Cheap betties in each of them. I also put these at my moms house and she is having the same problem. Please help.

While the [Ring Alarm Flood & Freeze Sensor](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021558531-Ring-Alarm-Flood-Freeze-Sensor-Information) is intended to detect flooding and freezing temperatures, it is intended for indoor use only. It should not be placed or submerged in water during normal operation, and should operate in a temperature range of 32º–104º F (0º–40ºC) as freezing weather is known to drain batteries. I recommend also considering distance to the Base Station to ensure signal is optimal and not causing battery to drain quickly.
