Alarm keeps going to 3G backup

So my ring alarm keeps going into 3G backup mode, I’f I press the reset button it gets connection back to the WIFI. The strange thing is when it says it’s in backup mode I can still see it’s connected to the network through my hub. Anyone else experienced this?
