3g backup signal with O2-UK non existent.

Hi all. I'm just wondering if there's any UK users experienceing zero 3g signal ? I'm a Ring+ subscriber but unfortunately can't really get the benefit of cellular backup. Seem like the system may be a non starter that requires return unless there is a solution or an alternative to the generally poor o2 network. Thanks in advance.
