Doorbell Pro rings internal chime continuously

troubleshooting
My Doorbell Pro has been installed per the instructions and connected to my existing compatible Heath chime. However the existing chime won’t stop ringing. I have turned it off in the settings. But it just keeps ringing as if the wires are shorted together. I want to continue to use the internal chime. According to your literature this model 3300-RX is compatible. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi @user14428. To confirm, your internal chime kit is a Heath-Zenith DC-3360 (3300-RX)? That is the one listed on our [Chime Kit Compatibility List](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/209028546-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro-Chime-Kit-Compatibility-List) for the Video Doorbell Pro. This is listed as a digital chime kit, so it's important to ensure that the Doorbell Chime Type in the Ring app is set to digital. You can follow the steps below to check this setting: - In the Ring app, tap the menu in the top left corner - Tap **Devices** - Tap on your Doorbell Pro - Tap **Device Settings** - Tap **General Settings** - Tap **Doorbell Chime Type** and select Digital from the drop down menu. Additionally, you'll want to make sure that the Pro Power Kit V2 that was included with your Doorbell Pro is installed correctly. Please review the installation instructions [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005974286-How-to-Install-Pro-Power-Kit-V2-for-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro) and check that the Pro Power Kit V2 is properly installed. If this concern persists, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can look into this further. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support. :)
