Ring Video Doorbell
Battery level not updating
Using the app, on two devices and both after uninstall/reinstall, the battery level is stuck at 58. I received no warning of a low battery, it just died, and, when I looked at the app before and after charging, it just shows 58%. It's not altering. Any ideas?

Hi neighbors! After charging your Ring device battery and reconnecting the device, your charger percentage should update in your Ring app [Device Health](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001757766-Understanding-Your-Ring-Device-s-Device-Health-Page). Please allow some time for this to show the update amount, in which triggering a motion event could speed this up. Learn more about charging your Ring Doorbell by finding the [Help Center Article for your Doorbell here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&query=charging+the+battery+doorbell).

Hi @grangey. You can try a reset of the Doorbell by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After that's done, set the Doorbell back up in the Ring App using the steps under Set Up a Device. If the battery level is still not updating to reflect a full charge, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They'll be able to take a closer look and offer more in-depth troubleshooting support for you. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support. :)
