Renter setup Ring Spotlight cam and then did not delete the devices when they left

I bought two Ring Spotlight cams for my renter and had her set up an account to use it. She has left but did not remove the devices from her account and now it seems I cannot reset the cameras up after a factory reset (hold the top button 10 seconds). Are the devices bricked until she releases the devices? I cannot get in touch with her and so am I now left with two useless cameras? Help!
