Wireless Ring with wired doorbell

I am interested in purchasing a 2nd generation video doorbell with wireless installation. My question: if someone pushes the button on the Ring, what does it take to make my current wired doorbell chime?

Good question @Clarkent! If there are not wires connected to your Video Doorbell, it will not be able to use your existing in-home chime kit. Our solution for this scenarios is our Chime devices, in which we recently launched our new and improved [Chime](https://shop.ring.com/collections/accessories/products/chime-gen2) and [Chime Pro](https://shop.ring.com/collections/accessories/products/chime-pro-gen2). These will allow for notifications within and throughout your home, with no need for wires. :)
