Watching past videos without subscription
I just purchased a ring doorbell camera and I have a question about using it without a subscription. I realize I will still get notified of motion detection, doorbell rings, live view and 2 way talk but my question is without a subscription is there no way to watch a last saved video? Like if something is detected during the night, I can’t view it in the morning? Would like to confirm this is correct. Thanks in advance.

They immediately delete your videos, no grace period other than them nagging you just before it expires or a banner in the app. The problem is that even if you do subscribe before either your trial ends or your current subscription expires, and the app doesn’t get the word that you are all paid up - BAM - they delete all your stuff - then they tell you it’s your fault and you will need to delete your app and reinstall it to make it work - but say goodbye to all you older recordings. Just a lousy business practice.
