Warranty replacement not arriving?

Has anyone had to log a warranty claim recently? On the 17th of December 2020 my Ring Doorbell Camera ceased working. I didn’t realise this properly until 23 December, searched through the troubleshooting guides and then contacted Ring Support. I was impressed with how easy the process was as it took a short time for me to explain what I had tried before it was confirmed that the device was faulty and would be replaced. I was told it could take 7-10 days to get a replacement which given time of the year, I felt was reasonable however we’re now in February and despite multiple escalations, follow-ups, assurances there is stock in my country, the device is yet to be shipped. I have spent 14 hours chasing this up and spoken to about 15 people. Feeling very let down.

      I have been having the same problem trying to get a replacement under warranty. They tell me that there are no Ring Doorbell ‘s in stock. I have been waiting since the first part of April and they tell me I’m gonna have to wait at least until the end of the month I had to call numerous times including having to take pictures of my transformer, Ring Doorbell the wiring before they would even say they would replace my doorbell. Very disappointed in Ring. Not sure I would recommend them to anyone else.

        Same issue as well, had a camera completely fail after just 3 months of use. I knew there was going to be a problem from the start when I called Ring and they said they could only provide a black camera as replacement (my failed one is white with an existing white solar panel and goes on a white wall). tried to argue that was ridiculous but may as well been talking to a (polite) robot, so I begrudgingly accepted. Then after over 3 weeks of nothing, called again and was told they don’t know when, and I just have to wait till stocks available (I thought they had the black version in stock?). I’m guessing they’re waiting for people to make returns of working stock so they can use that, which sounds insane, no wonder they don’t know how long it will take. I asked for a refund so I could just buy a new one and this was refused. No point having polite staff if the service is terrible. If I didn’t have a second camera that still works I would probably just cut my losses and buy from someone else.

          Hi Tom, I don’t use either of those platforms, are any other options like an email address? Alternatively I’m happy to post my original order number or the replacement Request ID here if it can be followed up from that?

          Same problem for me too. I have a ring camera that failed and they said they would send me a replacement, but it did not arrive. They said that they shipped to the wrong address and it was returned which doesn't make any sense as the email they sent me had the correct address. They said they would send another and I have not received that one either. It seems like they don't care at all about my time I have spent on the phone with them or their agreement to back their camera with a warranty. I assumed that Ring was a reliable and customer focused company but after my experience I see that it is not.
