(Updated below) Can a wired ring 2 doorbell work with a wired ring 1 setup /transformer?

(Update! No it won't you have to change transformers - poor design tbh but hey ho!) I have a ring 1 wired and it cracked so I got a ring 2 sent to me. Will the new hardwired doorbell be able to use my ring 1 hardwired setup and approved transformer? Thanks in advance
