Turn wifi off but blue light still comes on with motion why

Turn wifi off but blue light still comes on with motionwhy is this?it also does it in home mode which is why I block the ip when home but its still coming onDoes it save records of video or still shots after wifi reconects of motion sensed during dow. Time?

Hi @Djmcbride3. A wifi connection and a Ring protect plan is required for video recording and Snapshot Capture. Without a wifi connection and plan, there will be no videos or snapshot images saved or available to view in the Ring app.
