Stolen Device Removed By Ring Without Consent.
My job had me out of the country for around 24 days recently and one of my Ring Devices was stolen then the thief tried linking it to their account.. Since I couldn’t respond to some email from Ring within 14 days, Ring AUTOMATICALLY REMOVED my device FROM MY ACCOUNT. The device was active, my account was active and nothing hinted at the device not being used or was forgotten. Now my property is stolen, Ring removed it from my account without my permission whatsoever which means all of the video recordings and proof of the theft and being mine is removed which thus means there’s nothing the Police can do or file… At the end of the day, this was my property. Period. It was linked to my account yet Ring took it upon themselves to remove it all because an attempt to link it to another account was made…
