Set up

Setting up a new doorbell1. I can get the ring app to talk to the doorbell but it then fails. I have checked the trouble shooting sections and notice it states about the router password but when is this password entered because I don't remember putting my password in unless in the original setup I entered my own password by mistake. If so how do I return to the section to enter the correct password. Hope someone can help.
