Screwdriver not screwing in

Help! Bought Ring 2 doorbell today but the blue screwdriver isn’t screwing in the mounting bracket to my door.

That’s not a screwdriver for the bracket. It’s not a regular tool. The blue tool is only used specially to put the specific screw in at the bottom of your device underneath that holds the cover in place. It’s not a screwdriver, it’s specific to that one screw only. Also you need to drill first then mount it with screws.

Hi there, @Bea2! If you are working with a wooden surface, the mounting screws should go into and install the bracket using the screw driver. This can take some effort depending on material or thickness of wood, but we've seen neighbors report success with using a drill to better secure the screws into the wall. I hope this helps! :)
