Round light lit constantly on ring doorbell 2

Just purchased a transformer for Video Ring doorbell 2 because I can't use solar due to the length needed. However, the round circle with light is now constantly lit. Why is this? Is it ok?

Hi @nstultz49. Since you have your Video Doorbell 2 hardwired with the transformer now, the ring around the Doorbell button will be illuminated with a white light. This is expected behavior and doesn't indicate that anything is wrong with your Doorbell.
