Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 Plug-in Adapter
food requirements
installation

I have an original Ring Video Doorbell Pro. It is powered by by a Plug-in Adapter for the original Ring Video Doorbell Pro. Model: DLA2420D-SAA Input: 240 VAC 50 Hz Output: 24V AC Max 850 mA I now want to upgrade to the newly released Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2. This is supplied with its own Plug-in Adapter. I am not sure about the power output of the new Plug-in Adapter. My query is: can I use the new Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 with the Plug-in Adapter for the original Ring Video Doorbell Pro? Are the power requirements the same? I have run wires from the original Plug-in Adapter through walls and brickwork, and would prefer keep using these rather than removing them and running wires again for the new Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2.

Hi @joesarsero. If you have the first version of the Plug-In Adapter, this will work with the Ring Pro 2. If you already have this wired up, it should be a "plug and play" setup! I hope this helps!
