Ring Video Doorbell 3 button issue

Hi Folks, I have a ring video doorbell 3 for the last 20 months. This week i have noticed when i ri g the doorbell, nothing happens. There is no activity on the doorbell (lights or sound). I dont get a notification on my phone either. Motion alerts are still working, live view is working also. I have reset the doorbell and reconfigured. Battery is fully charged and ring doorbell firmware is up to date. The doorbell button doesnt appear to be stuck and i can feel the button pressing when i press it. Anyone got any ideas as to how to fix this, or is the doorbell toast. I wouldnt mind except i rarely get people calling so its not from overuse. Cheers
