Ring Pro freezing when doorbell pressed

I have a Ring doorbell Pro (Gen1).I have found that when the doorbell button is pressed, the doorbell crashes and requires rebooting via the setup button.Thisnis a problem when i am away from home making it imposible to see the doorbell on the app as it needs to be physically rebooted.I am using a mechanical chime and it has worked for nearly 4yrs but started happening in last 1month or 2.I read others stopped getting the issue after disablig the mechanical chime.I rely on the mechanical chime. Has there been a firmware update to the device causing this issue?
