Ring doorbell too sensitive

I am new and have my Ring doorbell wired set up. I love it except that I get a lot of "ghost" alerts. It will go off, I'll IMMEDIATELY open it up on my phone and there is nothing there. I looked at the sensitivity settings and set it to the next lowest and it still goes off about every 2 minutes. I then set it to the lowest setting and it only improved a little. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi @user33089. If your Doorbells motion detection is too sensitive, you also want to check that you have enabled [Smart Alerts](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032947972-Refining-Your-Motion-Alert-Notifications-for-People-and-Other-Motions-). In Smart Alerts, you want "Person" as the only option enabled. You will also want to adjust your [Motion Zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210243483-Utilizing-Motion-Zones-with-your-Ring-Devices) to avoid areas that have objects that would move excessively with the wind. I hope this helps.
