Ring Doorbell Pro 2 says doorbell transformer is underpowered
I have a Ring Doorbell Pro 2, which is wired to the original Ring Plug-In Adapter (the first gen, not the 2nd get that's currently being sold). It's been working fine for months, but the iOS Ring app is suddenly telling me that the Ring doorbell is underpowered. When I click Device Health, it says Transformer Voltage is Good, but Power Output is "Level 3" (in red characters). Clicking Power Output brings me to a page that says "Your doorbell transformer is underpowered." Does Ring Doorbell Pro 2 not work with the original Ring Plug-In Adapter? I saw another thread on here that said Pro 2 works with the original adapter, and I hope that is the case because I don't want to re-wire the doorbell.

Hi @Ringuser4817. The Plug-In Adapter (1st Gen) will work with your Ring Pro 2. If possible, try moving it to a different outlet to see if the power status will change to an acceptable level. Also, you can try a power cycle and resetting it. To power cycle your Ring Pro, just unplug your adapter for 5 minutes, the plug it back it. Once that is complete, you can perform a reset by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing. Once the Ring Pro is online, trigger a motion event and then check your power status in the Device Health menu. Let me know if this works!
