Ring Video Doorbell
Ring doorbell power issues
Hi, I'm experiencing some issues at the moment with my ring video doorbell. At the moment is have the following setup: 230v feeding in a 8-24vac power supply ([https://www.screwfix.com/p/british-general-8-24v-8-va-bell-transformer-module/8707P?tc=JT3&ds\_kid=92700050482623980&ds\_rl=1245250&ds\_rl=1248181&ds\_rl=1249481&gclid=Cj0KCQiAxrbwBRCoARIsABEc9shhSVZtxnaSWO3RWZR2JoC79ydy8GedwVUoCtF0JqDoPz82CGT\_POkaAvh1EALw\_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds](https://www.screwfix.com/p/british-general-8-24v-8-va-bell-transformer-module/8707P?tc=JT3&ds_kid=92700050482623980&ds_rl=1245250&ds_rl=1248181&ds_rl=1249481&gclid=Cj0KCQiAxrbwBRCoARIsABEc9shhSVZtxnaSWO3RWZR2JoC79ydy8GedwVUoCtF0JqDoPz82CGT_POkaAvh1EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds)) than the power supply feeding a Byron 776 chime (I removed the inner transformer) and from the chime to the ring doorbell. I can't get the doorbell charging (tried to add a 25ohm 50watts resistor but nothing changed). Am I doing something wrong? I checked with the multimeter the voltage at the doorbell and I'm getting a consistent 16.41 Vac. What should I change? Thank you in advance!
