Ring Doorbell can't find any networks during setup

troubleshooting

I just bought a Ring Video Doorbell and can't get it setup. I'm able to connect to the ad hoc network the doorbell creates during initial setup (SSID=Ring80), however it keeps saying "Looking for available wifi networks" for a minute or two, then I get an error screen that says: **We couldn't connect to your Ring Doorbell.** *Not to worry. It may just need to be reset.* *To do this, hold down the button on the rear for 20 seconds, then release it.* *Give it a minute or so, then try again.* I have reset it multiple times and it keeps happening. How do I get this to work? I'm using an iPhone with iOS 16.1, and same thing is happening if we use my wife's iPhone. It's not showing ANY networks, so I am sure it's not a problem with my router settings. Also, I'm trying to set it up right next to the router so distance isn't an issue. Please help.

Hi @Spaceboy Give the troubleshooting steps in [this](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217240386-In-App-Setup-Failing-Repeatedly) Help Center article a try. If you are still unable to complete your Doorbell's setup, I'd recommend following up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can troubleshoot this further. If you are outside of the US, please visit [here ](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406)to see how to contact support.
