Ring Video Doorbell
Ring Doorbell 4 problems
Ring Doorbell 4 does not work on 5 GHz and does not even show as being available when searched for, so false advertising as Ring are aware of this but will not change info to state only works on 2.4GHz. Therefore, paying upgraded price for inferior product, also fails to send notifications/alerts even though my wifi strength is more than adequate. Might be faulty doorbell but Ring will not replace with new one. Waste of time and money.

Hi @user46689. The Ring Video Doorbell 4 does work on a 5 GHz network. How far away is your router from the location you are trying to connect to? Have you adjust your ports and protocols? Does your network automatically switch between 2.4 and 5 GHz networks? Do you have any additional security settings on your network? These are all variables that could prevent your doorbell from connecting. What part of the setup process is the doorbell failing at?
