Ring Doorbell 4 and Byron transformer UK
hardwired-battery-video-doorbell
Hi, I have an existing Byron door bell and the transformer has on it 220/240v 50hz 8v **1.0A** the ring doorbell 4 says it needs 8-24v **40VA** 50/60HZ. SO I am good with the 8V and 50HZ but what about the 1.0A verses 40VA. Can I connect the 1.0A output to the ring 4 receiving 40VA?Thanks

Needs a transformer rated no more than 40VA - you should be fine with what you have. Doorbell 4 only trickle charges, so doesn't need much power at all.
