Ring Doorbell 3 mode setup on multiple devices

Question

If I change the mode settings on my iphone app (change motion notifications in Home Mode) does this not automatically change the settings on any other user's iphone app or on Alexa?

Hey @Jsodell. The Mode settings can only be changed by the owner of the device and will control how your devices behave in terms of if they will detect motion or allow for Live View in a specific mode. You can learn more about Modes [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036107792-Control-All-your-Ring-Cameras-with-Modes). This does not affect notifications, and each user is able to control their notification settings individually. I hope that clears things up! :)
