I have a 1st gen ring video doorbell and it won't turn on. I've had it charged for days charging. The unit gets warm. I have tried the hard reset by holding the orange button down but all that does is flash quickly a white led light and then it goes off. Is this thing dead? Anything else I can do?

Hi @chainblade. Allowing adequate time for the Doorbell to fully charge, as well as attempting a full reset by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds were both good troubleshooting steps to try in this situation. I'd also try walking through a new setup in the Ring app to see if you're able to get the Doorbell up and running. If it's still unresponsive and unable to be set up, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) to see what other options are available.
