Ring 3 plus and solar charger

Question

I purchased the ring 3 plus and the solar charger that it fits on the base. I hooked it up like the directions said. When I go into the settings it says solar charger not connected.

Hi @cak119. What is the current battery level at for your Ring Video Doorbell 3? As mentioned in this Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041935832-Installing-your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-3-and-3-Plus-Solar-Charger), the power status will not reflect that the Solar Charger is present until the battery reaches 90%. I hope this information helps.
