Reliability Issue

Ring doorbell doesn't record a big trash truck in front of my house, but will sometimes record a cat in my driveway. I adjusted settings but nothing works. The doorbell will also record a car in the middle of the street but not the trash truck. In my opinion, Ring doorbell is not reliable.

Hi @user_38d6a7. Ring Doorbells are designed to detect and alert you to visitors at your door. Motions that happen farther out, such as vehicles in the road, may not be picked up as reliably. You can always expand your Motion Zones and increase your Motion Sensitivity to ensure the pathways to your door that visitors take are covered.
