The recording plays way too fast to actually see anything, how can i slow it down to see properly? I had my car damaged and want to be able to see the person do it but goes so fast

Hi @Juliec. Would you be able to provide an example of the recording playing too quickly? Either the recording from the Ring App itself or a screen recording demonstrating the video's playback speed would be helpful. When attaching this video, you will need to compress the MP4 file into a ZIP file, as ZIP files can be attached to your reply and not MP4s. In addition, you can upload this video elsewhere, such as YouTube, and then share the link to the video in your reply. Alternatively, if the video is saved in the Event History in your Ring App, you can choose to share it via email and copy the link that is generated. I'd be happy to help once I'm able to take a look at what you're experiencing.

I can't get it to upload here it's just showing as a photo instead so I don't know how to get the actual video to share properly

@Juliec The video should be saved in your Event History in the Ring App, so you can choose the share option and then select via email and copy the link that is generated. If you're unable to share the video, you can also give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They'll be able to work directly with you to find a solution for this concern and make sure everything is working properly. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support.

When I press share it only gives me the option to download to my phone doesn't give any other option to share. It's not been a motion detection it's just the footage from that night it happened and it just plays way too fast to look through it to see anyone

@Juliec Thank you for that additional information. It sounds like you may be referring to the snapshots taken from the Snapshot Capture feature, which you can read more about [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360034355652-Taking-Timeline-Security-Snapshots-Using-Snapshot-Capture). Since Ring devices are not designed to record 24/7 and do not record outside of motion, rings, or Live Views, we offer the Snapshot Capture feature so you can have your Ring take snapshots throughout the day. These will not play like a video and are just meant to be an overview of what's happening throughout the day. I hope that helps clear things up. :)

Hello. When I look at my history, some of the videos move too fast during playback (8 seconds when the Amazing Driver pulls up). It didn’t even record him coming to the house. I have my timer on 30 seconds. https://ring.com/share/ad933392-01a1-4ed5-8584-7f8f29576b1a
