Recent Update changed sensitivity?

We have a Ring Pro v2. After purchase, we discovered that we would get motion alerts at night for every passing car (and other things). We then discovered that if we changed the setting to People Only, those headlight alerts stopped. This inconvenience caused us to have to switch those settings every night and every morning in order to get the alerts we wanted, and not get alerts we didn't want. In the last couple of days, it seems to have changed so that now, regardless of our people/motion setting, we are getting alerts at night from passing cars. If it's raining, it's even worse and the reflection also sets it off. Has something changed? Was there a recent update that changed the sensitivity? This device will have very little use to us if we can't eliminate the unwanted alerts and keep the ones we want. This is the 2nd major problem we've experienced recently. After going through all the suggested troubleshooting, we still cannot get the motion image preview on our laptop - when it was working well before.

Hi @WMRing. There haven't been any changes made to the [Smart Alerts](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032947972-Refining-Your-Motion-Alert-Notifications-for-People-and-Other-Motions-) feature. I'd recommend beginning fresh by resetting your Doorbell Pro and taking it through a new setup in the Ring app. This will also allow you to readjust all of your motion settings. You can reset your Doorbell by holding down the setup button underneath the faceplate for 20 seconds. Once that's done, follow the steps under Set Up a Device to set the Doorbell back up in the Ring app. Upon finishing the setup process, ensure you review your [Motion Zones](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/210243483-Utilizing-Motion-Zones-with-your-Ring-Devices) and all motion settings so they are set to your liking. If your Doorbell continues to pick up headlights from cars, you might also look into a [Corner Kit](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-pro-2-corner-kit) to angle the Doorbell's view by 25° towards your walkway. For persistent concerns with the motion detection, I'd recommend following up with our [support team](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406#callus) so they can offer more in-depth assistance.
