Really disgusted

My Ring doorbell had issues staying connected to wifi after just a few months. When I contacted Ring I was told I needed stronger WiFi. Then it wouldn’t reconnect at all…this happened in the fall…before Thanksgiving…while still in warranty. I called about that and was told that the battery was likely weak and I needed to take it down and charge it. The holidays were coming up…very busy time. I decided to wait to take it down until I had stronger wifi because why charge it if I couldn’t get it connected? In January I began exploring mesh systems and later ordered one. After it was delivered, I took the completely dead doorbell down to charge. Nothing. Completely dead. Called for help and was told they would send me a new charging cord. Waited weeks for that to arrive. Plugged it in. Still completely dead. Called again. Now it’s out of warranty! Didn’t ever work for a full year! I was told all he can do is send a discount code…to make it equal the Amazon price. So disappointed. NOT EVEN A YEAR!

My Ring doorbell has started to do the same (UK). I have a star link router in a room to the left of the front door, plus a 2/5mhz tp-link AC1750 wifi repeater which is situated in the room next to the front door. Rebooted the doorbell, charged the battery (100%), de-selected the WiFi repeater and connected to the star link router and tried everything in my IT knowledge to get it to connect, which it does for about a minuet, then drops connection again. The doorbell has been working fine up until a week ago, then this. Anyone else having problems with the "wifi" connection. My WiFi code for the ring is RSSi-59 if that helps.
