Quick question about Ring Doorbell

My husband and I are wondering how far from the door does the ring doorbell record? Something like 20ft from the door or further? I’m pretty much set on buying one and it’s the one answer that we can’t find online.

It's really tough to give an exact distance because there are many factors that contribute to how your Doorbell detects motion. One of the ways to optimize the distance that your Doorbell detects motion will be proper positioning.
